Some projects are simply to create (or update existing) CAD files required for manufacturing processes.
These are typically used for Laser & Water Jet Cutting, CNC Machining, CNC Punching & Folding. This type of project involves 2D or 3D drawings or 3D models to be created. Individual components are then detailed, or suitable filetypes for each can be provided. Typically, shop drawings, cutting lists, parts tables & specifications can also be provided.
Some projects involve Engineering suitable design solutions for use in new or custom application. These projects typically vary greatly, but generally have constraints & conditions for operation. For example a project may have a set energy or heat load which is to be dissipated via fluid flow & thermodynamic processes.
Relevant operational data is collected, engineering specifics are determined using relevant principles. Necessary design calculations are performed, suitable equipment is designed typically using CAD software to detail the system. This approach assures adequate function under the given set of circumstances. Specifications can also be provided.
Other projects may involve the development of components or manufacturing systems, improving overall efficiency & product reliability. Projects typically arise from industries such as Motorsport, Manufacturing, Energy, Aerospace, Government & Defense needs. These projects demand specific outcomes for component strength, weight, deflection, material, & efficiency. Appropriate CAD models or drawings are created which may enable enhancements in a virtual environment.
The virtual models may be modified & developed by undergoing virtual testing (FEA) & reporting of outcomes. Your product can be 3D Printed in a variety of materials and finish. Much can be learnt about your component or product in a virtual environment. This is the technology used in Motorsport & Aerospace industries. Many manufacturers now utilize this technology for developing & enhancing their product range & marketing opportunities.
Quality images & animations may be generated in a selected file type. An assembly may be animated in a video file & even used for marketing or educational purposes.
