A 3D CAD model of the components was prepared. Component position relationships were created.
This type of animation is very usefull for showing how things work, or how things assemble.
Shows the effects of a Design Load on a component. This component was Lightened and Strengthened as a result of the FEA (Stress Analysis) process. The component was prepared using 3D CAD software for easy design changes.
Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), loads, constraints & material properties were applied and then simulated.
The process can be cheaper and faster than physically building prototypes & testing them. In the FEA Simulation environment, much more detailed information is available for efficient re-design and further testing simulations.
Shows the transfer of Design Loads and interaction of other components in an assembly. This assembly was developed by reducing weight while increasing strength as a result of the FEA process. This is our own PE Racing product, you can see more on the Product Page.
This type of simulation is very usefull for showing where the strengths and weaknesses are.
Shows the Torque, or Twisting load on a wheel and brake assembly. This analysis was used for the Development of Motorsport Brake and Hub components. A 3D CAD model of the entire assembly was designed. Component material specification, constraints and design loads were applied. This type of simulation is very usefull for showing where the strengths and weaknesses are.
Shows the Stress Concentration on a welded frame connection. This analysis was used to Design a Cleat to be welded to a light frame section. The goal was to Distribute the load and Avoid Stress Concentrations. Shows the Stress in a welded frame. This analysis was used to Develop a frame design to Sustain the expected Structural Design Loads
